Favourite Kiss
Captain Swan kiss, Season 3 Episode 5 Good Form
I realise we’re back to Captain Hook again, but Captain Swan is my Once Upon a Time OTP, so you’re going to have to deal with it.
This is my favourite kiss because not only is the first time that Emma and Killian get it on, it’s also when they’re both completly open to the thought of moving on with their lives. It’s no secret that Emma is still hung up over Neal all these years later, especially since he’s just ‘died’, but here I think she finally begins to move on. For Killian, Emma if the first woman for him after Milah. He himself admits that he was never open to the idea of someone else until he met Emma, which is so sweet I may have melted into a little puddle of fangirl right then and there.
I also love the episode as a whole, because we see real character development with Killian as he had just helped save David’s life. If he were still out for himself he wouldn’t have done that. Not at all. He probably wouldn’t have done it even if he were trying to get in Emma’s good side. But even with the character development, he’s still himself. I mean, look at him:
He’s still a scoundrel and sexy as hell, but at least now he’s not completely self centred about everything he does. In this scene they both let their walls crumble a little, and it was beautiful.
